Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s Office Announces June 17 as First Day of Muharram 1448 AH
The Office of Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in Najaf announced that Tuesday will be the final day of Dhu al-Hijjah and that Wednesday, June 17, 2026, will mark the beginning of the holy month of Muharram for the year 1448 AH.
